WWRPB ⎸ Driving Change within
Health & Social Care
To deliver A Healthier Wales, the West Wales Regional Partnership Board (WWRPB) plays a vital role in the oversight and governance of a partnership of organisations in the region working to improve how health and care services are delivered, ensuring the right support is available at the right time to help people in West Wales improve and maintain their health and wellbeing.
Who We Are & What We Do
About Us
The West Wales Regional Partnership Board (WWRPB) is made up of representatives from Carmarthenshire County Council, Ceredigion Council, Pembrokeshire County Council and Hywel Dda University Health Board, registered social landlords, independent & third sectors service user representatives and unpaid carers. Our aim is to ensure people have the right support at the right time to improve their health and wellbeing outcomes.
The WWRPB has many important priorities. However, the following are highlighted as specific areas of focus for us.
Innovation
Working with partners from public, private and third sector organisations, we facilitate the processes and relationships required to develop innovative practice, to recognise, evaluate and promote success and in partnership with the RIC Hub.
Integration
We promote integration of health and social care services by developing integrated plans, joint commissioning strategies, and shared care pathways.
Involvement
We transform services that deliver person-centred care, by involving and empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their care and promoting their involvement in planning and delivering services.
YOUR EXPERIENCES
SHARING STORIES & LEARNING
A key part of transforming and integrating health and care services is ensuring that people are asked what matters to them. Here we share real-life examples and stories of how our citizens are benefitting from services delivered.
Your Voice Matters
Get Involved
The future of health and social care is in everyone’s interest; the West Wales Regional Partnership Board (WWRPB) is a place for everyone to express their voice.
We encourage the active involvement and engagement of individuals who use health and social care services, as well as their families and caregivers, in the decision-making process of the WWRPB, through the citizen representatives that apply to join the RPB. They, along with people with lived experience who contribute to other boards and groups, help to inform and shape the planning and delivery of services.
