WWRPB News and Events

Over the last 2 years Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire County Council and Hywel Dda University Health Board have been engaging with neurodivergent people and people with learning disability as part of discussion around the Learning Disability strategy.   There are currently 3 very similar Learning Disability (LD) strategies in Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion.  This strategy will be a single regional strategy covering all areas.  The strategy has been reviewed by the Regional Improving Lives Partnership (RILP) which is a 3-county group including people from:

  • Carmarthenshire County Council,
  • Ceredigion County Council,
  • Pembrokeshire County Council,
  • Hywel Dda University Health Board,
  • Dream Team,
  • Carmarthenshire People First,
  • Pembrokeshire People First,
  • West Wales Regional Partnership,
  • Various projects funded by the Regional Integration Fund.

The strategy is informed by the Population Needs Assessment issued by the West Wales Partnership Board. We would like to hear your views about the recommendations that have emerged from the engagement.
